Zaneco Sdn Bhd was established in 2021 as a subsidiary of Zantat Sdn Bhd — a Malaysian group with deep expertise in materials manufacturing. We are headquartered in Keramat Pulai, Perak, where our production facility operates with proprietary technology developed in-house for compostable bioplastic compounding.

Zaneco Sdn Bhd is incorporated in Keramat Pulai, Perak to undertake bioplastic compounding, backed by Zantat Group's four decades of materials-manufacturing expertise.
2022
R&D & First Production Line
R&D begins on a compostable compound formulated from PLA and PBAT with our own ground calcium carbonate as filler. A 300-tonne-per-month compounding line is installed at Zantat Perak Plant 2.
2023
OK Compost Industrial Certified
Our first compostable packaging film compound obtains OK Compost INDUSTRIAL certification from TÜV Austria — the compound's first independent certification.

Poly+Cal Innovation Lab Launched
Zantat launches the RM8.5 million Poly+Cal Innovation Lab in Keramat Pulai — Malaysia's first locally-owned R&D facility of its kind, advancing polymer and calcium carbonate research to support Zaneco's bioplastic compounding.

Earthya obtains SIRIM Eco Label 001:2018 Compostable certification, adding to its compliance credentials for the Malaysian and export markets.
